David W Vaklyes

Dave spent more than 30 years as an in-house developer for System Planning Corporation, an Arlington VA defense contractor. The last 13 years at SPC were supporting DARPA's proposal evaluation process with a custom-built FileMaker solution.

After leaving the corporate world, Dave started Gold Standard Design to provide database, web, and publishing services. In addition to continued support of DARPA, Dave's FileMaker customers range in size from the small heathcare education company Breastfeeding Outlook to the publishing giant USA Today.

Gold Standard Design is an operating unit of Gold Standard Resources, LLC, a Virginia company.
